Well-made tutorial. I like the use of edge and center inner glow, to create a away-from-the-edge ring-shaped-glow.

But I am new to GUI design. (I still need need to learn how to design UI design)
I follow up the tutorial.. I have a little challenge while following the instruction in the tutorial.
But i came up with  this one..

Nice not bad! Set the inner shadow mode to overlay.

You wouldn't even be able to see anything that's set to overlay if the background is white I thought you knew that.

:-O You're right. Wow I missed that. I need to learn the technicalities/formulas for the blending options, I don't know how they work but have come to have intuition for how they look I guess that makes sense, I use overlay when I want to make a shadow that doesn't overwrite the highlights below.
