Well-made tutorial. I like the use of edge and center inner glow, to create a away-from-the-edge ring-shaped-glow.

But I am new to GUI design. (I still need need to learn how to design UI design)
I follow up the tutorial.. I have a little challenge while following the instruction in the tutorial.

You wouldn't even be able to see anything that's set to overlay if the background is white Cheeky I thought you knew that.

:-O You're right. Wow I missed that. I need to learn the technicalities/formulas for the blending options, I don't know how they work but have come to have intuition for how they look Cheeky I guess that makes sense, I use overlay when I want to make a shadow that doesn't overwrite the highlights below.
