Sexy Popcorn
I like what you did with the repeat indicator (the 2 dots). I'd suggest making the clickable area for those controls on top a bigger. I had a little trouble clicking the 'minimize' icon Cheeky
And maybe make the bass indicators on the left a bit more vibrant when they light up?

Glad you like it  Grin
Thanks, good suggestions Smile
Glad you like the two-dot indicator. I've had that basic idea for a while now but I was almost afraid to implement it  Cheeky

Grr, now I gotta re-flatten all those little controls >.< Or just make a simple action that adds a 2px border...hmm...

I'm at college, but afraid to open up uTorrent to download Ps. They might killz me  Hunt

Excellent work lewa. Great skin. The final thing I would suggest would be the font. It looks kind of hard to read. I would do something a little simplier (maybe a classic, like Arial or Verdana) to make it as easy as possible to read.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys Grin Grin
I want to use a non standard font, but at the same time, like you said Spencer, it can be a bit tough to read. Hrm.
Oh, and I did post this on dA.

Wicked assss. Lewa dude, you're improving at a good steady rate here. Props Smile

Aight I'ma mention the font too but not because of readability. Does that font support unicode characters? Or even simple ones like !"?$%^&*()? I ask because Cliff worked on getting Xion to display great in a number of languages so it'd be kinda sucky if your skin stuck its finger up and that, for use of a better term.

Everything else is neat stuff, well done Cool Beer

Peace, Lance

Yeah, to be honest the font is the only thing I consider flawed with this skin. I think that font would look cool small, but when its sized up, it loses it's coolness effect. Something more standard would look fine I'm sure. The strength of the skin is definitely the interface anyways. ;)

You play piano too? Believe it or not I'm more musical than graphical, been writing my own shit for 10 years, and piano happens to be something I play rather well. Do you write your own stuff?

Awesome!
I've been playing a little over a year. But for some reason (maybe because being a computer nerd and typing all the time) I gained a lot of mechanical skill very fast - can play the right hand of billy joel's "Root Beer Rag."

I've written a few things, yes. Not too complex, though. I still have a lot to learn about progressions and the like. Would really love to improv effectively, though, like this guy (can play like the first 20 seconds of that).

Yeah I'd say I enjoy, and am more skilled in piano/music than graphics. On some levels they're related though, like every area of art. The most important part of any type of art, though, is understanding the emotion behind it. I'm very into this part of it and that's why I really want to master improv (but death to crappy jazz!).

While I'm rambling about being an artist: It's wonderful and terrible at the same time, isn't it? Being so involved with art and the blessings it brings, but yet being uncontrollably obsessed with art?

You have a place where I can listen to your stuff?  Grin
