Yeah that's why I had a hard time leaving FF for chrome. However, I discovered that chrome has addons as well Even the adblock plus engine used in FF.

@Jikaru; looks quite annoying actually to have the tabs on top, only further away to click. I switch alot between tabs and I haven't found a keyboard shortcut yet (I'm sure there must be one ) to switch. There is actually a keyboard shortcut built into the add-on that does this, and the small tabs on the left are "App Tabs" and I can choose which tabs to be app tabs by double-clicking a regular tab and they stay open over new sessions. Also it looks good in full-screen mode, but the windows buttons are below the tab bar Here's an update of the list of add-ons for 3.6: Strata40 Beta 0.6 StrataBuddy Beta 0.6 Fission 1.0.9 Informational Tab 0.3.201 App Tabs 0.6.2

Jelle, you should be able to do Ctrl + Tab while in Firefox to switch between the tabs.
And do Ctrl + Shift + Tab to go to the tab to the left.
omg, how come I never knew this?! thanks Spencer, you just made my life a lot easier

How did you get your bookmarks to looks like that!?
Right-click somewhere to get up a list where you can untick the bookmarks toolbar, then right-click and get up the "Customize..." menu, then just drag a bookmarks-button onto wherever you want it. (The first icon is the Read It Later addon, second one is bookmarks, the rest are defaults) EDIT: I made a mock-up of my current vision for how an ideal browser could work, a basic two-level hierarchy, It's intended for when you use some common websites but have multiple tabs for each website, or if you want an important web application separated from the other tabs. Under the golden firefox tabs are the regular tabs, the other top-level tabs can be configured to contain tabs based on their URL. So, a basic configuration could be: Facebook tab -*.facebook.com* Mail tab -mail.google.com/* -*.login.live.com/* -*.mail.live.com/* The idea is that more and more people use web applications and want them easily accessible. I have seen some using separate programs in order to have easy access without going through tabs (example could be twitter-applications, applications on smartphones and on Jolicloud(OS for netbooks)). The problem with separate applications is that if I open a link to something on facebook in my browser, the link will open in my browser and not in my facebook application, it also happens if I open links in different applications to other applications. With my solution, you can easily go between your different applications, or groups of websites. Maybe you want to browse some news, but not mix the tabs with social networks or work-related websites. This way, you simply choose choose a top-level once for a website and then it will automatically put all pages on that domain into the same top-tab. I'm probably messing up my description here, I should write it more comprehensible some other time.

I think having the app-tabs on the same line as the normal tabs makes more sense. You are using double the space having them stacked like that. What is the advantage of having them separate?
hierarchy, they display what's "under" them, under them. It is a good idea Vidar, especially if you use like 20+ tabs having some all under one would make things easier. Oh and Vidar, my bookmarks button doesn't have a drop down arrow, it always opens in the sidebar...how do I fix that? [Edit:] NVM Vidar, I found the other option for the bookmarks button, in my firefox it didn't have a picture and was separated from the rest of the buttons Now my firefox resembles your a bit more

Running pretty much the same theme/addons combination as Jikaru, rearranged it a bit to save another row.
That would be perfect if only the tabs were instead of that text on the top. It'd save some space. That's what I meant by the title bar and the tab bar being put together, as I wish the same thing.
